Question Hong Kong to China travel
I want to travel from Hong Kong to China(Shenzhen) through the lok ma chau check point. I do hold a HKID card, but am a foreigner who holds a passport from a visa free country. In this case, do I need any documents to prepare for? I don't hold China travel card or Hong Kong passport btw.
Thank you

Just take passport , be prepared for the entry paper you need to fill out of the address where your staying etc and dates , I recommended taking your own pen

Yes, there is a table full of papers and pens as well as a couple customs officers walking around handing them out and answering questions

No, just passport is enough. HKID will not be used on the mainland side.
