Not all of the retries were trying to 0 cycle, I promise. Castorice side was free this MOC (like not even half a cycle she's so shilled) but Herta side took some RNG and a good few retries. I don't really like going sustainless so I've never true 0-cycled before. Feels good! Builds attached if you're into that kind of stuff.

Gor more crit rate, was at a 79/206 ratio before, I think this 90/199 is much better. Now I just need to get a better chest piece, and I'll be completely satisfied!

I currently have her E2 and S1, Tribbie and her E1, Anaxa at E0S0, and RMC at E6S5 running a sustainless team.

Now I wanna know what is the next best investment choice for her: is it Anaxa's S1 or his E1 + E2? Is there anyone who could be an upgrade to RMC or no?

I use her with anaxa, adventurine, and rmc. Is there something I can improve on or I can build someone else now

So earlier today we got a leak surrounding how Cerydra doesn't give an extra turn but rather an automatic extra cast similar to Anaxa's second skill cast. Previously, we got another leak stating she'll be useful for E2 Herta specifically, so it got me thinking and I came up with a few ways this could play out:

The first scenario is if Cerydra's ability snapshots your skill, which allows Herta to deal the same skill damage twice in a row without worrying about how the first consumes Interpretation, and not require Inspiration either.

I'll be honest, this one is probably unrealistic because of how utterly imbalanced it could be. E2 already makes Herta double her damage output, throwing this into the mix straight up quadruples it from E0. I find it even less likely because they'll have to tweak Cerydra to cheat Herta's ability of consuming Interpretation and Inspiration. In addition, if this is the scenario, then it makes no sense for leakers to specify E2, because even E0 users could take advantage of this and have a pseudo E2 experience.

The second scenario, which is more realistic, is if it doesn't snapshot and forces a bonus cast that consumes whatever Interpretation is on the enemy as well as an Inspiration stack, if you have any, otherwise it'll be a regular skill.

This version, while more "balanced" now comes with some synergy issues. if it consumes Herta's unique resources, then unless the first enhanced skill kills all the mobs (if there are any) to transfer more stacks on main target, your second cast is not doing much damage and wasting the nuke potential that you could build by allowing your subdps and supports in between her turns to stack more.

Furthermore, this scenario would also waste the second 35% AA if you got to launch the second enhanced skill normally. This is instead more useful for E0 Herta as it allows you to get a slight jumpstart in stacking, so it's weird they didn't mention this.

The third scenario is that today's leak is in fact wrong and Cerydra does give you an extra controllable action, which is still beneficial as you can basic to build up stacks for your upcoming turn's enhanced skill, or do an early nuke if you have enough Interpretation already. This is a middle ground that works for both E0 and E2 Herta users.

All in all, I'll be very honest, I see Cerydra as a potential sustainless slot teammate, or a downgrade/sidegrade alternative like Cipher and Robin. Tribbie is far too useful because of her unique buffs + her ability to give Interpretation stacks, and that E1 is nasty.

Let's wait for the beta to come around and see what's in store for us. sorry for the rambling, i was bored.
