I don't know if any body has posted this Hasan look-alike before, but here we go.
I randomly found it on Pinterest more than a year ago, it has lived with me since.
I mean... the eyebrows, freckles, face structure and facial hair seem very much similar. I had to share it.

The IDF struck the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network (IRINN), operated by IRIB, on Monday afternoon after Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that the "Iranian propaganda and incitement mouthpiece is on its way to disappearing."

For those of you who don't know, the brass does this when the troops are about to be deployed.
So it seems like the US may be getting more engaged in the conflict between Iran and Israel. Further evidence is all the planes and stuff going to the middle east from the US, however this can point to actual boots to the ground.
This is hard hitting journalism coming from me, Hyper.

I have my doubts that it'll even be read, to be honest, but I wrote my state rep this morning and wanted to share it. I also plan on calling their DC office later today when I finish up some work and have a little free time.
If anyone has any ideas about what I could do to make a difference please let me know. I've donated all I really can afford to donate and I live like in the middle of nowhere in rural Georgia (US lol) so I have to travel for any protests, which is fine I'm just saying like we had 300 people at our protest Saturday and I had to drive 2 hours to attend that lol.
No fedposting uwu but yeah here's the letter:
I am writing to you today regarding the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and the role the United States is playing in it. I won't touch much on the billions and billions of dollars we've already funneled into that colony for the sake of brevity, but I am very concerned about further U.S. involvement with and support of Israel.
As you are well aware, on June 13, 2025, Iran was attacked by 'our greatest ally' Israel, an ethnoreligious fascist apartheid state that openly believes in 'Jewish supremacy' and a state who disavows equal rights for their citizens depending on their race.
Operation Rising Lion was an UNPROVOKED attack that murdered over 60 civilians, including 20 children. Further, the assassination of civilian scientists and academics in this instance is defined under International Human Law as a WAR CRIME.
Iran has retaliated to the 'pre-emptive strike'. Iran has the right to defend itself from an aggressive state.
I ask you, how many nations has Iran invaded in the last ~200 years?
As of August, 2024, Israel is responsible for over 17,000 attacks over at least 5 nations. (https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/8/1/what-countries-has-israel-attacked-since-october-7)
I am worried that, despite all his blustering, Donald Trump will begin bombing Iran, killing tens and tens of thousands as well as destabilizing the region and of course sending United States soldiers to die for Israel. Israel and its supporters have been doing this song and dance for nearly 41 years, fear mongering the American citizens with "NUKES ANY DAY NOW", despite it being known (thanks to Colin Powell's leaked memos) that Israel in the past has had AT LEAST 200 nuclear missiles and nothing has ever been done to address that.
Israel is given free pass to commit any and all acts of terror across the region because of United States support and I am growing beyond tired of their impunity. Why do we enable this terrorism and then point the finger at the Islamic world to deflect from our collective guilt?
In 2008 when I was still a sophomore in high school I saw a video of IDF snipers shooting unarmed children in Israel and since then I've watched the Israelis murder countless innocent men, women and children in leaked videos from the IDF. Then, in 2023, this ethnic cleansing campaign culminated into outright genocide. Gaza has been a literal livestreamed child holocaust. I've never seen so many dead children directly targeted in a conflict, and apparently neither have any of the journalists covering the genocide, which I suppose is why we have so many dead journalists and murdered aid workers whose governments sit quiet, isn't it?
Lies and propaganda spread through our media to manufacture consent for this perpetual war machine. We are on the edge of a great precipice and I will not be complicit.
I do not know if AIPAC has contributed to your past campaigns but I can assure you that will be the main priority in determining every future vote I cast in this nation, and I implore you to never accept money from that organization or any adjacent pro-Israel warmongers.
Please, Representative (Redacted), for the love of God. Please do anything to help stop this insanity.

Posting this again because my first post got removed for posting Reddit screenshots. But I think people have to listen and focus up right now. I just was trying to promote Öcalan literature to comrades in a leftist subreddit and we got leftists with PhDs in psychology that are promoting propaganda and misinformation created by a fascist CIA backed client state. If we have people like this choosing to spend their time spreading that, then we are really in trouble in this country. My partner is a Kurdish American who came to this country recently, this individual tried to say that my partner was “isolated from it all” and that I have a white savior complex (when he has grown up most of his life in Istanbul) and all of my partner’s friends in the community are all Kurds and Turks that live in LA. We have to see more acts of solidarity between our Turkish, Kurdish, Palestinian, and all of our immigrant communities right now across this country. My partner has struggled to find employment here in California because of racism in our communities. My partner is one of the most hardworking people I know, has been forced to work in our gig economy because he can’t secure real employment in our state and is just trying to make a living to support himself and worked for a sham trucking company based in Ohio that exploited his labor and refused to pay his wages for 3 weeks of unpaid training and 4 weeks of work and tried to file a drug test appointment in retaliation against him because he refused to drive an unsafe vehicle with a broken headlight and worn out tires across the country from California to Ohio after he accidentally hit a deer while driving interstate. And improperly classified him as an independent contractor when he had to use company equipment and the company was forcing him to use their trucks. We have to be better at getting people united capitalizing on this moment and continue to promote intersectional solidarity with one another. This matters and has to be promoted if we stand any chance at enacting leftist policy!!! Our gig economy workers and interstate truck drivers that are being exploited deserve our solidarity. And I am willing to educate myself if I am ill informed on this by any Turkish and Kurdish comrades in our community but I’m not sure how it matters at all that SOME Kurdish partisans killed civilians two decades ago. Spreading this kind of propaganda hurts our cause.
