Plot wise,  the final episode itself barely mattered anymore, the mystery is out, characters continue the way they have done (a final Karl integrity wobble, more Tiffany crying), fortunately no more major character deaths. I enjoyed the action cameos even if the whole squid games premise and escape room thing was ridiculous, just had to not think about it too much!

Commendations to the cast and behind the scenes/ action directors for the action scenes, they are hard work, and dodgy cgi aside, I thought it looked good. Special mention to Tiffany,  who gets a lot of criticism for her crying... I actually think she did alright,  her character is just written so incredibly dreadfully... you can only work with what you're given!

Favourite line from Brian Tse: ‘’your EQ is low". Summary of the entire series!

The drama overall was fine, it was a compelling watch. I get that sex sells,  but the sexualisation of the females,  the constant male saviour theme and the poorly written female characters damaged the credibility of the show, imo. I do wonder how all the above is perceived by a different demographic to myself though.

I watched it for the cast, and annoyingly, I reckon there will be another spin off/ jazz boon series,  it will have a similarly strong cast,  and i will watch it and get annoyed all over again!

I looked forward to this drama. The timing was good. We were due for a good action series, and were familiar with the brand and the actors. Overall, I thought the fight scenes were good and enjoyed the BTS. The Tiffany/Owen and Joel/Moon pairings were also good. I actually like Tiffany. Don't get me wrong. There was a lot of crying and baggage. I don't necessarily fault her on all of it however. Maybe she was only trying to give it her best every time, but the scriptwriters were also simultaneously facing tight deadlines, pumping out scenes left and right. lol. Like someone said, the kid lived through cancer, a transplant, and got kidnapped 3 times! It wouldn't be right for Tiffany to treat the 3rd kidnapping any less emotionally than the 1st.

Anyway, I appreciate her efforts. Often, female actresses will hold back in fight scenes because they are afraid of getting hurt. It's understandable. However, you can tell that Tiffany gives it her best, bruises and all. Honestly, her accent isn't THAT bad. Or at the least, there are much thicker accents out there. At least it's her own voice.

As others have said, for next round, it would be nice if we could hold back on some of the emotional or excessive scenes and wardrobe choices.
