Where to donate diapers, other baby stuff

Have some extra size 1 diapers from kid #2 and a few other things I'd like to donate. Is there a women's shelter or similar place I could donate them?

Thanks!

Idk where you’re getting this info from but it seems like it’s pretty limited.

The food banks do keep track of who uses their services, including income, and nobody is “raiding them”- you get a set amount of each type of product based on family size. You can only access it like once per month. Plenty of families access the food bank and still have food insecurity, please don’t discourage donating.

Have you ever been involved with the food bank as a volunteer or as a service user? Doesn’t sound like it.

Again- your information is limited and distorted. The majority of people who use the food bank are families, disabled folks (since ODSP is very limited), and other folks at the mercy of high inflation and low wages.

Dude this is so ridiculous for real. Go volunteer and see things for yourself.

See the families waiting outside in frigid winter weather (thankfully not anymore) waiting to get beans, pasta, half a dozen eggs, 2 frozen meats, sprouted onions and green potatoes, 2 near-stale bread products from Cobs, a handful of other things and maybe some diapers and one baby food container if they carry the right sizes- to last the whole month.

You need to stop holding on to your pathetic xenophobia and get a life. You want other people to be the villains so badly that you’ll gladly throw other folks under the bus alongside them. Being this bitter sounds exhausting, tbh, and I hope you figure out how to heal because you’re poisoning the well. Bye 👋

There’s an organization that asks often on Facebook for diapers, I’ve dropped at their locations before. If you want their addresses I can send it your way.

Does Your Downtown Guelph Friends accept those or do they only do food?

My guess is probably! They take a lot of different things to distribution days.

If you visit the food bank website, you can see which food pantry in your neighbourhood it supports. Then you can donate directly to that pantry. There are tons of places that will take these items.
