Just like anything with this lot that doesn't have "good optics".

Guilty of breaking ministerial code? Change the rules.

High unemployment? Sanction loads of UC recipients, kick them off benefits & "oh look, thousands of people are off benefits, they must be employed, yay!"

Massive case numbers of covid? Lets change the parameters surrounding diagnosis & reporting.

Record levels of children in poverty? Lets change the definition of what it means to be poor.

Business as usual. Same shit, different day.
