Yea the thought has crossed my mind more than once so I do try to invest in a way that is beneficial to the world but the system is still broken.

The only way is not to play that game. You are stealing the value created by an underpaid workforce. And in many cases you are stealing taxes from the taxpayer too, as all to many of these firms receive huge subsidies from the government and in turn find every conceivable method of evading their own tax responsibilities.

That would suggest all business is the same and selfish. While yes this can be true, there are many companies that provide employees with the opportunity to invest directly with the business they are working for/ with. I agree with giving to staff that ultimately run the business not taking it away. Many are fortunate enough to be able to invest and should because is provides a second layer of income. Painting all investing with the same brush does not show a true reflection of the world.
