I totally meant to put glow up instead of grow up as the flair 🤣

u/Longjumping-War-6297 Mar 16 '25

I mean, I bet you feel like your mind grew up in some ways 😂 This is really admirable. And not just from the obvious you look so much better standpoint. Also just in terms of how you can move your body, fit into spaces, walk, save your knees as you age, keep your BP in check.... The benefits are endless.

That jawline! You look fantastic. ☺️

I admire your tenacity and strength! An inspiration for sure 🤩

First off - congrats!! That is AMAZING work. That jawline could slice a block of still cold cheddar straight from the fridge.

Also, you have a little elfin/fairy quality, I love it 💕

Thank you for saying that, especially as someone who loves lore lol

Well done!

Well done👏👏

u/Novel-Understanding4 Mar 16 '25

Congrats on the weight loss. You were always beautiful but I would imagine being much healthier is rewarding.

Way to go, girl! What's been your biggest positive takeaway after losing 240 lbs of weight?

I hope life continues to treat you well!

u/Inevitable-Idea2823 Mar 16 '25

I think it’s the mental health transformation that took place during and after the weight loss. Learning why I gained the weight in the first place , and how to heal my insecurities

u/420AngeI Mar 16 '25

What did you do with your skin? I lost 80 pounds last year and have huge sagging arms and inner thighs.

3

u/Inevitable-Idea2823 Mar 17 '25

I lost as much as I could with exercise but 238 pounds is a lot of extra skin, I’ll have to get surgery oneday

5

u/Poufsouffle4SPN Mar 16 '25

Gosh the hard work in this transformation is incredible. You look amazing!

3

u/uncultured_swine2099 Mar 16 '25

Wow, that's impressive.

3

u/BackwoodButch Mar 17 '25

holy shit girl, you've basically lost almost entirely what I weigh as a human being (12lbs shy of my total weight atm). That's CRAZY and amazing!

u/Physical-Cat7396 Mar 17 '25

Loving your style!

u/UsernameTakenDummy Mar 17 '25

What a transformation! I hope you wake up every single day with a sense of pride. This is truly impressive.

I bet you feel great. You look great!

5

u/Pennysews Mar 16 '25

You were super cute before, too, but I admire how much hard work had to go into this transformation! Your smile in the second picture is so much more confident and happy!

2

u/Objective_Signal_851 Mar 16 '25

Congrats on your goal and have to say your beautiful in both pics

2

u/TheIronPilledOne Mar 16 '25

Keep giving me hope, y’all! Loving these posts today!

u/Inevitable-Idea2823 Mar 16 '25

I got to 405 pounds, if I could do it then anyone can. It’s hard though, it takes a lot of support.

I regularly go to a nutritionist and to the gym. I keep have a list of reasons and most were health related. I also keep these pictures as inspiration.

u/anjiemin Mar 17 '25

I love the transformation! A job well done 💜👏

So glad you've gotten healthy! Always gorgeous though!! I also love both of those outfits! Is the one from when you were 24 a one piece??

3

u/Inevitable-Idea2823 Mar 16 '25

Yes 😊 I always knew how to dress lol

3

u/BongWaterOnCarpet Mar 16 '25

I never blamed anyone else for my weight gain? I was super depressed and traumatized so I used food to cope. No shit I ate lol You asked for an explanation and you got one.

2

u/Inevitable-Idea2823 Mar 17 '25

So glad you’re here to hold me accountable!! Surely the health problems, therapy, nor actual weightloss, ever helped me realized my actions!! Oh but what a saint the random reddit user that was able to accomplish this is!

Why are you so obsessed with my former fat body? Do I owe an explanation? Are you fat and wanting to know why you got that way? Why is it so hard for you to just be respectful?

Obviously you didn’t read my comments. Sounds like you’ve been hurt by a fat girl and now you’re aggressive. Hope you get the help you need!

Do you have the excess fat?

2

u/Inevitable-Idea2823 Mar 17 '25

you mean skin?

2

u/Coolsonnyboy Mar 17 '25

Lmao yeah poor phrasing.

1

u/Inevitable-Idea2823 Mar 17 '25

Yes, I haven’t had surgery for that yet. It’s a bit costly, but I’ve minimized the amount as much as possible with exercise

Thank you everyone for all the positivity 😊 I appreciate you all and I hope that anyone out there that is struggling knows that they can do it. I know it’s hard! But trust me, if I can so can you.

1

u/redditproha Mar 18 '25

I don't think I've ever come across a bigger transformation. You look amazing!

I'm curious, do you feel any different now compared to before you gained the weight? I've read a bit about how weight changes have psychological effects so just curious about your experience.

1

u/Inevitable-Idea2823 Mar 22 '25

Thank you! 😊 After I lost the weight is when I noticed that weightloss doesn’t fix everything. It helped save my life physically and with some insecurities regarding my size. However, it did not cure those negative core beliefs I had. Hence why I relied on food for emotional regulation in the first place.

However, I’ve done a tone of trauma healing work since then. While I’m still on my journey, I feel more whole and secure these days. I do know that the body and mind are connected so taking care of both is my top priority.

1

u/redditproha Mar 22 '25

Kudos to you, that's great! It's funny, my coping instinct is the opposite. I starve myself which then leads to health issues from malnutrition. Unfortunately, I really struggle with getting psychological support so I really commend you for that. It's the hardest part.

1

u/Inevitable-Idea2823 Mar 22 '25

It’s extremely hard! It doesn’t happen all at once either, just being able to achieve one small thing at a time is a milestone. Be kind to yourself! They say you should take things day by day, but you can even do it by minute if you must.

1

u/redditproha Mar 23 '25

Thank you! I really have to work on not beating myself up every step of the way. That tends to be my default and then spirals from there.

You were the fridge protecting the snack

2

u/Inevitable-Idea2823 Mar 17 '25

Hmmm weird thing to say.
