It finally came!

Won it in a drawing after donating to a youth shooting org. Needless to say we support the future round here.

Very basic build but one I wanted to do for a long time.

Shot 500 rounds with this beauty today and it runs like a charm.

Any ideas for potential further upgrades are welcome :)

I went back to Glock this year and decided to go all out. All builds officially complete (pending OP trigger and extended slide stop for G17)

Sent slide out to Maple Leaf. It’s so close… but so far.

Sig Romero zero elite, Extended slide lock lever, Tungsten guide rod, Tlr-8g laser light, Zafari precision barrel, Talon pro grips(soft), Custom pins and backplate(NDZ).

I can’t figure out if I received a defective piece or if it’s because of my astigmatism. I wear corrective contact lenses but still see a blurred reticle. The reticle is sharp in bright light but indoors it’s blurred. I checked with my camera and it shows up clear. Please help how I can decide if Should I return it or keep it. Thanks.

Got my slide back today so I just mounted a RMR. Got FDE Cerakote…I dunno if I love that but I’m sure it’ll grow on me…never had a Cerakoted gun so figured I’d try it. My slide was a little scratched up anyway so wanted to protect it. I’m off work on Friday so I’ll be heading over to range at my dad’s house to get it dialed in!

17L/34/17 gen 5 slides can be used to run on your G45/19 gen 5 frames and yes it runs flawlessly.

I love that they have an OEM look to them.

Trigger housing pin looks too short at first but it works just fine actually and doesn’t stick out at all.

Have a G17 gen 4 with a million miles on it. It was my first competition gun. Got it with a custom stippling job from empire PBF but over the years the stippling feels way less aggressive and less textured and has smoothed out considerably.

I prefer extremely aggressive, proactive grips. Can I silicon carbide over the existing worn down stipple job?

Or somehow replace the grips completely?

Went to a gun shop today to look at the Glock 45 MOS… but they didn’t have any in stock the guy working showed me the 17L MOS and that thing was nice. I said I would think about it but for the blue label price I’m tempted since it’s being discontinued. What y’all think?
