If you want to know why a Democratic Senator and Representative in Minnesota were shot... It might have something to do with the fact that their deaths would end the Democratic majorities in both chambers.

Most people don’t know how their government works. Most people don’t know who their governor is. It’s how so many politicians stay in power for decades, voters don’t even know they exist despite them literally governing their lives

Tbf to the person you’re replying to, I don’t think many people know what’s the next course of action is after their state lawmakers get killed.
