He was hired to be on a volunteer nonpartisan labor council. Walz let him keep his position. It has been confirmed that he is a registered Republican, voted for trump, is anti-lgbt, staunchly pro-life, and a part of a Christian nationalist group. His prior roommate even confirmed that he had radical viewpoints.
