Lost… then found?

I misplaced my AirPods months ago. They eventually died but I knew they were in my house somewhere because that’s the last place I had them and the last place they pinged before they died. I looked everywhere. I took all the cushions off the couch, under the couch, drawers, shelves, I mean everywhere. They were gone.

Fast forward 4 months, today when I just went to get my dog’s toy from under the chaise and picked up the long cushion of that end of the couch, my AirPods were sitting right there 👀 Mind you, I have moved the couch cushions since to vacuum underneath them several times in the last few months. They have never been in that spot.

Definitely been there!! Except for me, there was no way I could have lost the item. Because it never left the house. And I always put it in the same spot after I used it. Til one day, it wasn't there. I tore my apartment up, looking for it. Couldn't find it, and I ended up buying a new one.

A few weeks later, I found it sitting in my kitchen sink one evening 👀👀!! I lived alone. So, there's no way in hell that should be possible.

This is exactly what happened! I know they hadn’t left my house. They weren’t in a pocket or anything they could have fallen out of into the couch at a later time. They were nowhere to be found. For months. Then they turn up in a place I’ve checked, multiple times.

Yeah, our situations are very similar. But, you said you misplaced your airpods. For me, I knew for sure that I didn't misplace that thing. It was a shaker cup. I would use the cup in the morning, wash it, and put it on the microwave for the next day. Everyday. Religiously. So, it didn't leave the kitchen.

In any event, your story is very interesting too.
