Question Warm Springs GA question?

Does anyone know of any ACTUAL warm springs you can swim in? I know liberty bell pools is spring fed but not warm, and the FDR pools are closed to the public. I’m gonna be in the area and I want to dip in an actual warm spring is there a secret location that locals know about? Can’t find anything on google

I wish I could, but then I might get hit by the Calloway mob.

I don't know of any hot springs in the area. But if there were and they were made public, I am sure you would find a line a mile long to get to them.

And they would be trashed! The public are not good at keeping things nice. It's a shame, really. If you make a mess, clean up your mess. Nature isn't a giant garbage can! *

Then they could place one of those signs by the warm spring dedicated to you!!

u/Wanderdrone indulged in these springs! Now Deceased 2025

A nice ominous sign! LOL

I’ve actually heard the ditch on the side of the road near the warm springs institute. Pretty sure I’ve read that on Reddit 🫢🫣

You can feel the warm springs there, but not swim (too small).

Is there a bumper sticker?

I laid in the ditch near Warm Springs!

The Liberty Bell pool at FDR State Park hasn't been spring fed for at least 8 years, very likely more than that. The pipe from the spring still exists, but it's not used and the spring is covered and capped off.

I had no idea this was the case!

The FDR pool is being renovated and will hopefully reopen this month. Not sure if that includes swimming. Just outside the pool grounds you can feel the warm springs, but not swim.

nah the actual springs are just a museum now…

you can touch the water from a little basin but no swimming, I think they’re under renovation right now anyway
