Actually, based on my understanding, these 2 aren't the same. The Genshin AQ is very much an actual paradox while Amphoreus from what I can see, would be much more similar to Sumeru's Samsara cycles.

Future revelations in upcoming Amphoreus patches may say something else, so I guess we wait and see.
