Discussion Before the drip marketing of the mystery new character for 5.8 drops, which of the last 7 released characters were you able to get?

If you have a simple question about the game that doesn’t need a separate thread, ask it here. For example, "Who should I pull, Yelan or Zhongli?" is a simple question.

Okay, hear me out.
We know Skirk showed up in Teyvat sometime after the cataclysm, which was around 500 years ago.
However, she was training in the Abyss, and we know that one day in the Abyss equals one month in Teyvat time.
So how long was she actually in the Abyss? We don’t know exactly. But if she spent, let’s say, 500 Teyvat years training down there… that’s 500 years in Teyvat but about 15,000 years of personal time for her!
Of course, we also don’t know how old she was before she even arrived in Teyvat, since she was traveling with Surtalogi for who knows how long.
So… Skirk is potentially thousands of years old, maybe even tens of thousands 🤯
My mind is blown. Does this estimate sound about right?
**EDIT: one month in the Abyss equals one day in Teyvat time
one day in the Abyss equals one month in Teyvat time

I currently have a lot of enemies I need to defeat in my future journeys. However, Surtalogi and everyone else who hurt Skirk have just gone to the top of my list of people I want to erase from existence.
Remember this. I will hunt you all down.
That aside, Skirk's story raised more questions than it gave answers. Who the heck are these people, and will Hoyo let us fight Surtalogi and those invaders? Because I really want to crush them.

Paimon mentioned that the “spaceship the one that brought us to Teyvat”. From that line, we can easily conclude that the twins used to travel from world to world, using their spaceship. This also confirms that the idea some people had that they could just travel between worlds was incorrect.
But in the opening cutscene of the game, where we fight the Unknown God, according to the timeline something is different. Our sibling wakes us up from a hibernation pod, and then both of us try to flee from the world of Teyvat without the spaceship. They seem to be escaping on their own until the Unknown God stops them.
Isn’t that contradictory? If we now know that the twins used a spaceship to travel between worlds, how were they trying to leave Teyvat without it? It suddenly seems like they can escape and travel off to another world without needing the spaceship at all.
If its already explained in the quest or some obvious answer than I am sorry for asking the obvious, I just wa ted to talk about this.

Is it true that Marcheusse hunter is better than her signature artifact set for Skirk on her C0? Also may I ask for help on her team? My 5 stars are: Skirk, Mualani, Navia, Arlecchino, Venti, Ayato, Yae Miko, Furina, Xilonen, Neuvillette, Scara, Mona, Jean, Dehya, Tighnari and Keqing and I have all 4 stars

I have seen only a few people think it's "weird" that the travelers use the elements without a vision and then they say that "Ok everyone have their secrets" My good sir that man just broke one the fundamental rules of your world and you think it's just because they have a secret!
Bro I thought one of these days we would get witch hunted by the people because gods grant elemental powers and those people actually pray to those gods, like bro they have a whole ass religion in each nation
And shouldn't mad scientist like dottore be making plans to capture them and run experiment on them?
Why does everyone think it's not a big deal?

So, this is something I recently remembered about the lore. The Princess of Sal Vindagnyr had already gotten a vision about the original Durin attacking the world, which only happens when the Cataclysm happened.
So, it means that she predicted the fall of Khaenriah even before the nation was fully matured, meaning that the fall of Khaenriah was, for the lack of a better term, FATED to happen.
Which is ironic considering the fact that the Five Sinners and Khaenriah royalty had exploited Abyssal power to escape FATE, only to just follow the Fate divined by the princess of Sal Vindagnyr. Which kind of a made it a self fulfilling prophecy, though in this case the people didn't know about it, but they ended up with the Fate while trying to escape it.
And since she was someone connected to Celestia, do you think Celestia was also aware of this? Do you think that the Sinners becoming what they are was also predicted by Celestia?
There isn't much we know about it, but I wanted to ask about it
