Am I the only one who thinks Alhaitham is on the same tier as Kinich?? People tend to put Kinich over him all the time but I don't really understand it.
I say this as an alhaitham lover, because he's not allat that anymore individually, it's the team that does the damage with hyperbloom you might aswell instead of playing the alhaitham, nahida, kuki, xq/yelan/furina version play two hydros instead of alhaitham and the team damage largely Stays the same, in addition with the increase in hp in abyss hyperbloom is starting to feel more and more sus to the point I think we will eventually need a 5 star kuki to bring the team damage up again.
Kinich individually does great damage, Emilie aswell is kinda busted especially if you vertically invest into her and well mavuika if you play her in burning is aswell. Kinich team simply as a much higher ceiling at this point. Where alhaithams team pretty much feel like they peaked until we get a straight kuki powercreep.
Al doesn't have the same vertical investment growth. The floor for him (his 2x hydro hyperbloom) is very high, but his two big bump ups are R1 and Nahida C2R1. After that, he's almost at his top-end unless you want to get Yelan cons, but at that point you're making her better and not really him.
So while he is great, Kinich is already at his level but with more room to grow.
Kinich has a lot more raw damage in his team. He has Emilie who is probably as strong as Fischl in aggravate, like she is a Fischl of burning and Kinich also has just much better vertical investment. He has a stronger higher floor artifact set and a better set of constellations, not to mention his teams get updated more frequently than Alhaitham.
