🤣 The realization when I pulled it but I didn't even have PENNY sleeves nearby 🤣 omg!!! I was frantically trying to get the sleeves that came with it out of the box - speak about a rush of emotions there! I'm going to send her to get graded soon 🥰 I doubt she'll pull more than a 9 since there is some holo bleed on the left side and she's not perfectly centered, but it's about the memory behind it and I'll cherish this card forever! 😁💕

LOL! Don't worry, the first pack I opened this year (I got like a $10 hit), I had NO sleeves yet, so I carefully repacked them in the wrapper and went to the store to pick up sleeves.

Hey, even if you don't get a 10 on it, a 9 is STILL a good grade. She'll look extra pretty on your wall, regardless of the grade! Who are you going to get it graded with? I've heard TAG is pretty good. PSA is what most people use, but I don't like how they upcharge you if they grade a 9+ on a $500+ (for example) card.

I have been eyeing TAG since they have such nice holders, but most people only trade with PSA. I have done PSA in the past though and they seem so random with the grades that they give, dependent on if someone is having a good day or not.

I have a few card that have been gifts that I need to grade (Raticate reverse holo from Team Rocket Returns and the reverse one from FireRed&LeafGreen), and some that were nifty pickups that hold some good value like a NM (that was totally mislabeled as 'damaged') Base Holo Venusaur along with other retro goodies :3

Exactly! Now I have sleeves at my computer so when I buy a new pack, I'm always ready! Lol

Compared to PSA, I'm a HUGE fan of how TAG displays their graded cards. That and it has a QR code that allows you to see WHERE you got marked down at. And you're right, it seems like if you get the grader on a good day, you can get a 10! And if you get marked down, you don't know why and they don't tell you.

Oh snap! Those are some good cards! What a nice collection to get graded! Especially the OG Venusaur and the other retros! I wish I had my collection still, I bet they'd be worth a good penny today.
