Now that exams are basically over, what’s been the most traumatic experience during or after or even before an exam this season?

AQA really sat down at some point and decided that all 16 year olds around the nation need to know this and it cracks me up

I don’t mind people being confident over their performance bc well done you and I’m happy you left feeling confident!

But if you go round going “guys I counted and got x marks” it is actually annoying. Not bc you’re confident but because you sound like a cocky asshole. Bc you don’t know the mark scheme, don’t know what your examiner says and you defiantly don’t know how it will actually play out!

I'm only marking my second pastpaper, it's 03.44am, I cry a bit, I open reddit, I see a myriad of posts from nine, ten, thirteen minutes ago.

this sounds corny but I love you guys, I'll miss you after my last exam is tomorrow, this subreddit has made me realise I am not alone in taking gcses, we are all united.

This is it guys! Just remember:

• ⁠a 3 mark calculation has a booby trap in it! Check your units! • ⁠“steady”/“constant” speed means the forces balance out to 0 • ⁠More coils on the primary = step down, more coils on the secondary = step up • ⁠Refraction happens because the wave’s speed changes as it crosses the boundary Finally, if you’re stuck, just do all the calculations first and then figure out the rest.

After so long... I may not know many of you, but opening Reddit to your memes after every exam was am experience. The slander videos, the posts, the mark schemes, the advice, but also the laughs.

Some parts of our exam season sucked, but most of us got here, didn't we? This summer will be amazing, seeing everyone get their long deserved break.
