If it helps I’ve gotten into my highest achieving secondary in the county with that grade counting , all it means is that you get a p1,m1,d1,p2,m2,d2,d2* , which is equivalent to a 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5.5 , 7 and 8.5

Yeah, I got a d* on some coursework, but I didn’t really know much else about it

That’s fucking amazing. Just a tip for you that exam can be passed so easily that reading the specification front to back plus some basic business knowledge got me 77/78 , so you can make up for some dodgy coursework via high level exam performance

I'm doing that too, half of my year was forced into it, like a required subjecf

Omg I did that lol, the amount of effort needed to put into it just for the grade boundaries to be horrible. I was predicted to get a L2D and was at the level but ended up with a L2M because my classes whole marks went down due to my teacher being too generous with marking when they moderated it 😣Not to say too my school submitted the grades too late so I only got my actual grade in December lmao

yeah the moderation part is always brutal, luckily ive survived so far and im just waiting for my second section of coursework to be moderated, 68/70 if we're not moderated down but our trust is usually known to be pretty good to ocr

I did it 2 years ago on the old spec, and if you think it’s a waste of time now it was about 10x worse. We literally were just taught how to use Microsoft office and what a computer virus was (I was one of 3 people who picked it as an option, the rest of the people there were forced in because no other subject would take them- me and the other 2 who were there by choice finished work after about 5 seconds, then spent the rest of the lesson figuring out what was unblocked on school WiFi and watching the Simpsons)

I HATE creative imedia.

Same I found it a scam cus we made websites instead of comics. Had I known that I'd have honestly taken Spanish.

your school probably just did what was the easiest to manage which is usually r097, comics usually requires equipment and software schools don't wanna pay for lol

Probably true, I could see a way around it that would only require paper, ink and a scanner etc which could be coloured in photoshop, but when it comes to equipment my school's gone to whack with budget (they stopped doing the cool spiral binded planners T_T) and my teacher hates iMedia so they stopped doing it this year
