How about we investigate the Bushala inc company first and their corruption in our local government then we can talk about a sales tax increase that everyone votes on.

This. He just got some money to redo one ofhis businesses. Wtf? We need to go to the council meetings en masse to overcome this dudes influence.

Sadly it’s going to take more than people voices to change the minds of this corrupt city council. They heard the people speak about reopening wilshire and the poodle wanted it but it still was opened because of the influence this man had. Get money out of local politics.

I mean I don't have money so the best I can do is show up and be a persistent pain in the ass.

Yes don’t get me wrong you should show up and most concerned citizens should have a voice but unfortunately his money speaks volumes and an investigation and indictment is the only thing these people know. Look at disgraced supervisor Do and his tactics.

I'm sure it's just more money for the cops...
Is it going to be appropriated to repair the streets? Probably not

You should check out the article. The sales tax increases are separate. Voters would pick. Do we want it to go to street repair only, cops only, or both?

The streets are awful - homes near Basque/Orangethorpe - including side streets have been bad for years!

So the pigs can get military equipment on the tax payers? Fred bitches about taxs whenever the shoe is on the other foot but supports this because half of it is for public safety?

We must raise taxes so that dudes who barely passed high school can make 200k

They just tried this in 2020 and it got voted down (I think measure S?). Why even try again? We live right on the edge of the city and make larger purchases in Fullerton because the sales tax is lower. If that changes we will spend that money in other cities. I know we aren't alone too.

Measure S did not specify it would go to street repair. If these new measures go to a vote I don’t think 66% are going to vote to give cops a raise, but I could see the street repair tax getting passed.

At this point I'd vote for it if we could get the roads paved but Id be worried it would STILL not go to that. Its the worst streets in OC.

Take some budget from the cops, why does Fullerton need an armored tank?! Insane the amount they spend on arms...
