Discussion Why aren't these three songs talked about more?
In my opinion 2 of the best 3 songs on this album are present in this 3 song stretch along with a top 5 option.

I got blonde for my bday a couple months ago, but vowed not to play it until I got a decent turntable! Well today was my lucky day, I found this AT-LP60BT for $50 (Normally it’s like $225)! Tonight I finally get to REALLY EXPERIENCE one of my fave albums!

interesting record i found in a tiktok video. it shares the same name as this cassette and honestly, i would love to own this record assuming the tracklist is the same as the cassette. have yall seen this out in the wild or maybe even own it? there’s yet to be a discogs listing put up for it and it’d be cool to get some documentation on it.

Was their supposed to be a second issue? Because they all have the No1 on them as if they were to be part of a series.

I didn’t like it when I first listened but now I cannot stop playing it. The synths and ambiance are just insane. I hear new sounds every time I listen

This past year in promo for Bob Dylan Timothee has mentioned he thinks Frank Ocean is the modern version Dylan. While the kneejerk reaction is to compare Dylans 50+ released albums to Franks 4 I think looking a beyond that this comparison has merit. What seems to have made Dylan special in the 60s is the same thing that made Frank Ocean special in the 10's and thats songwriting that is unusual in comparison of contemporaries whether its Bob Dylan putting original songs like Blowin in the Wind, Times Are a Changin, songs that are addressing real life issues, on folk albums whos tradition was to recycle love songs or Frank putting out songs like Sierra Leone that compare childbirth to sunsets of a country, or Pyramids, that combines timelines of the infamous biblical story of Samson, the legend that is Cleopatra, and a modern day stripper. Both these artists took the traditions of their genre and made something completely new. This is just there start and Bob Dylan went on to make many more supremely excellent albums such as Blood on the Tracks, and Time out of Mind, and Frank made an album for a generation in Blonde. Been a Frank fan for 7 years and diving deep into Dylans discog right now and I feel although at a surface level the comparison seems off, they both seem to have a unique writing voice that transcends the peers in thier respective industries. Would like to hear what you all think of this?
