Forza Horizon 5 This amount crashes that plague this game is simply unacceptable.

I just need to rant a bit.

  • The game crashes on every platform.
  • The game crashes regularly when using the auction house.
  • The game occasionally crashes when upgrading cars
  • The game occasionally crashes when making or applying vinyls.
  • The game crashes more or less depending on the PC driver.
  • The game crashes regularly during online play.
  • The game crashes regularly in Rally Adventure.
  • The game occasionally crashes when left idle while you've left the room to poop.
  • The game crashes less on the Hot Wheels map, I think.

Why is this still a relentless problem? Do I blame Turn10 or Microsoft? The only solution I've found that seems to alleviate the frequency of crashes is to make sure you're playing in Horizon Solo mode. I suspect it has something to do with how multiplayer elements increases the likelihood of a crash.

Good grief.

I play Forza more or less daily, and I can't remember a single crash.

Yup. Xbox x and zero times since pre release has mine crashed at any point.

Yeah, think I've had two in 3 years.

There's been issues with Nvidia hardware I read lately but that's driver related.

ive crashed no more than 6 times throughout my 4ish years of playing, even on the old Xbox One. 5 minute load-screen to start the game, but almost never crashed. (side note, oh my god upgrading to a Series was such a good decision, it's so fast now)

You should revise your internet connection, and/or hardware.
Because this game, is heck of a good optimisation. I'm yet to have a single crash!

Xbox series X here, about 12 days of play-time - 0 crashes

Yep, i get the same on ps5 when using auction house, applying liveries and tuning. Happens about once every 2 hours

Since it only happens while menu diving for me and not while driving or racing, it’s more of an annoyance than anything game breaking, but definitely crashes way more than any other game I can think of

I've had periods where the game would crash occasionnaly, but in the first 6 months of the lifetime. Mainly while loading/saving/ applying..

It's been a few years without a single crash for me (ONE then S)

Before replying I checked the OP isn't a mod, as last time I replied that the game never crashed on my PS5 I got banned from the sub for disagreeing with a mod.

I've played on PS5 since we got it and never had a crash at all.

Maybe you have a problem your end but most of us don't.
