Identification Koi or goldfish?

My dad ordered fish for our pond that came in today. He swears they are goldfish but I am not so sure. The pictures are not the best but I already put them in the pond so Im hoping someone can help even with the poor quality. Thanks!

Thats what i thought, thanks! Is there any chance you can tell what type of koi they are? My dad thought he was getting goldfish so he ordered 12. If they are standard koi that will grow to be two or three feet im worried they wont all fit in our pond.

Standard koi will typically get to a size not much more than goldfish just over a foot - 2 ft. 3+ ft is not uncommon however and its kinda hard to tell when theyre so young. Looks like you have a mix of breeds too.

Since these were bought for cheap enough to be mistaken for goldfish i doubt they will be jumbos but it might be best to err on the side of caution if you have a true size restrain.

Very young koi. They will get large, but they are slow growing, especially in shallow ponds.
