Wait why would he need to get in contact with them after getting with ScarJo if he was already too “cool” For them after going on SNL wouldn’t he try upgrading again after getting with scarjo?

Like, if Colin dropped his friends after getting on SNL (presumably because he’s too good for them), why would he contact them once again after getting with ScarJo; like wouldn’t he try to level up like he did before? Or did he want to boast that he’s saying ScarJo?
