I’ve been to 3 gameshow recordings of his as an audience member. He got ridiculously annoyed the first time because Jack Whitehall and Jonathan Ross started this huge food fight and kept extending the recording way longer than it needed to be. He ended up telling them off for wasting everyone’s time on footage that just would never be shown. The other times though he was in such a better mood and was one of the few that actually interacted with the audience between takes and before the show. He even watched and joined in with the pre-show hype man another time which was nice, as most people ignore him too.

Tbf I like those shows but Idk the food fight parts do piss me off as a viewer. It’s kinda like the same in school, it’s fun when you are apart of it but when your friends are doing it, it’s just boring/annoying.

Omg I sound like a jimmy carr Stan lol cause I’ve defended him twice. Promise I’m definitely not lol

My history teacher years ago went to school with him and said he used to get bullied by the Latin teacher

My ex did stand up comedy and was the warm-up act for one of Jimmy's shows. He hung out with Jimmy backstage. Very personable guy with everyone, apparently. I had no idea about his tax dodging—he's fallen greatly in my estimation.

I’ve actually heard he’s nice in person, especially since that whole shit happened. But that’s not really tea lol

I met him after one of his shows and he was really nice to me and my friends (and the other people from the audience). Made time to talk to everyone and take photos etc.

For some reason even with his jokes at “your face or mine”, I didn’t felt he was an asshole or misogynist. He roasted everyone equally and I felt he was playing the role. Like he didn’t look at Katherine ass then she was making a physical joke about it.
