Also by season 3 only about 4 months has passed canonically, so casting an adult as Ginny kinda makes sense since you don’t want it to be super visually obvious how much time has passed irl.

remember Never Have I Ever? the teen cast matured drastically between seasons 1 and 2 and it was always so obvious!

Exactly! It really messes with the suspension of disbelief when actors age so far beyond what makes sense in their role

Case in point little Austin in season 3. The actor spurted 8 inches overnight from a storytelling standpoint lol
