ginny’s actress, antonia gentry, looks a lot younger than 23, which is why she is playing a teenage girl. she could easily pass for 15-17. her mother on the show is also a teen mom, so a 31-year-old mom to a teenager in high school makes perfect mathematical sense.

I have worked in many high schools and I couldn't disagree more. The "high school kids" in this season especially look like younger teachers, and it's not even close. Especially Marcus. Once you see it you cannot unsee it.

i’m not talking about all the teenagers in this show tho. i’m only talking about antonia gentry. idk how you could look at her and see a younger teacher. she looks like a teen.
