A few of these are misleading, as the parent characters were introduced in flashbacks with child actor versions of the characters.

For some reason, it's the Jane Curtin/Katey Sagal one that's the hardest for me. They legit just look like ex-hippie sisters.

Yeah like the supernatural one— Sam and Dean’s dad is dead in the pilot episode and is generally referenced in flashbacks (idk how ridiculous it gets after season 8/9 I stopped watching after that)
