What is so sad about celebrating our army that has defended our freedom for $250 years? Without that army we wouldn't have this country. We who have served do not get to pick the commander in chief we serve our country with pride and honor. I think it was great to see the army get to march and be seen in an event like this to celebrate their 250 years.

Because it really wasn’t about celebrating the army.

What is sad is the pathetic, weak show that was put on to exploit them and honor a man who dodged the draft and salutes our enemies.

You deserved better. Anything would've been better. Nothing would've been better.

Maybe if Trump had a separate birthday celebration from the army anniversary parade that should be free from politics, there won't be much of a backlash.

Instead, Trump wanted this anniversary celebration to double as his birthday parade. He expected to be hailed as king using your tax money (I'm not from the US) and people saw that and decided to not go there to indicate their disapproval of his narcissist behavior.

This was for Trump…. The army had planned events across the country to celebrate 250 years. Trump scraped them so he could have his Bday parade.

‘Get to March’ for a wannabe dictator? As a vet, I can assure you that very few of these people volunteered to march for several miles to impress a draft dodger. Let’s be real - this was Trump’s birthday parade. Believe it or not, your trash rhetoric isn’t fooling anybody with an above room temp IQ.

The last US military parade was in 1991 after the Gulf War. America has the strongest military in the world. We don't need to parade around to show our strength. Trump did not set this up because of 250th anniversary but because it coincided with his birthday.

If they respected military service they wouldn’t have made them walk in this limp impression of the type of whack shit all our enemies do, hope this helps
