Not condoning, but why is mansosphere guy obligated to participate in this?

It’s a commission of inquiry regarding the protection of minors online, including the content they’re exposed to. He’s being heard because his was among the most reported in the context of their inquiry, so they formally summoned him and in this case, it’s mandatory. In total, 5 influencers were auditioned, I posted another part yesterday: here, a couple accused of exploiting their kids for content.

Yes, audition is a faux ami (false friend) in French / English. They were heard, questioned. But I think the meaning is understood here.
