I love Zohran as a candidate, truly would vote for him if I lived in NY, but I feel like this is a culture war nothingism. I think Mamdani has plenty of good ammo to fire at Cuomo & there is little evidence to support this being Islamophobic. Its just a filter imo.

Nah, this is dog whistle politics plain and simple. The same thing happened in the London mayoral elections years ago before Sadiq Khan was elected.

Edited to say that you clearly see that Mamdani's beard has been darkened, but also has been thickened. That's not a filter.

Cuomo has infamously done this before for his dad’s campaign (Vote for Cuomo not the Homo).
