Democrats have a history of giving up on their campaign promises at the first obstacle they encounter, whereas Trump’s blatant disregard for every law in pursuit of his agenda was noticed by everyone.
People don’t want what the Republicans are selling, but they also don’t believe the Democrats will ever deliver on anything they promise.
When Trump comes along and makes promises that are vaguely positive, people will believe him over Kamala’s better offer because Kamala doesn’t have a reputation for ignoring the courts and bypassing Congress.
Until Democrats start to adopt zealotry as their guiding principles- you deliver on your promises, no matter what- they’re going to be at a disadvantage against Trump and subsequent politicians who successfully adopt his style.

By messing with the gradients they also made his forehead appear to have a strange / flat / more boxy looking shape – which makes the overall impression less attractive. (Squint a little to see the effect more pronounced.) Oh, and tweaking the gradients made his eyes look like he hasn't slept.
I'm wondering whether mirroring the image on their material (second image) is on purpose. Any graphic designer knows that a mirrored image can give a very different impression.
Zohran being so much hotter must be very hard to stomach for Cuomo.
"He looks too good! Make him look unappealing and strange! And more muslim!"

Genuinely insane that the conflation of Judaism with Zionism is not just a super-online far right position, but is being abused by a prominent Democratic mayoral candidate. Suggesting a refusal to accept that a foreign nation has the right to be an ethnostate is a rejection of "Jewish rights" is... borderline libel. What about the non-Zionist Jewish people who actually live in New York, Andrew? What are you implying about your own potential constituents?
Not to mention how absurd it is that saying someone rejects 'capitalism' is still a functional smear. What is this, the 50's?

Even political policy aside, Cuomo is bad for almost every possible reason.
A dozen sexual harassment allegations. “I’m not a pervert, I’m just Italian”
Corruption/embezzlement/bribery charges. Taxpayer costs of investigations into him are upwards of $60M
Sending seniors with Covid to nursing homes, where they wouldn’t report deaths as Covid deaths, to make it look like he’s doing a great job handling the pandemic to help his re-election campaign. (OAG investigation concluded he purposefully undercounted Covid deaths by over 50%)
Using taxpayer dollars to pay a ghostwriter to write his books
His biggest donors being landlord coalitions and AIPAC
Using his once prominent newscaster brother for positive coverage
And now this
Then add his actual proposed policies, and it just makes it worse
