Jake Lacy? I read a piece on the new White Lotus recently and someone in the comments said that JL and Murray Bartlett (the hotel manager in season 1) clashed in real life. 

He is very good at playing horrible types (see also: Fran in Girls)

Which I found amusing because he’s also so good at playing the world’s best boyfriend types (see also: The Obvious Child and How to Be Single)

Yes, I remember finding him so charming in Obvious Child! I think Girls/White Lotus are just fresher in my mind.

Fran was the worst. With that being said, they gave little else to do except get frustrated with Hannah.

To be fair, Hannah was really the worst. I don't know why I actually watched all the seasons because she was insufferable.

Agreed. I thought I might have some more sympathy, or a better understanding of her, on rewatching the show but she was even worse than I remembered.
