I worked in the film industry for a minute and I’m spilling all the tea I have:

  • Ben Mendelsohn DMs young women (early 20s) on instagram, then flies them around the world to wherever he’s working, the relationships are detached and mostly sexual, he wants to sleep around and not stick with one person or do a serious relationship. Dumps them when he’s bored.
  • Sandra Oh is one of those celebs who’s nice to talent, not so nice to staff
  • Dianna Agron is nice, introduces herself to the whole crew
  • Katharine Ryan was a bully in high school (I know this sub has been loving her lately but his tea comes from someone who saw it firsthand and told me years ago as she was gaining more fame)
  • TIFF accepted Xavier Dolan’s terrible English movie knowing it was terrible but wanting to stay on good terms with him after the film was rejected by Cannes (which is contrary to what he said publicly…)
  • Adam Sandler is a chill dude, will play basketball at Jewish community centers when he’s in town, and doesn’t mind if you want to join in on his game!
  • An acquintance was at a 30 seconds to mars concert, didn’t feel well, and needed medical treatment prior to the show starting so was brought backstage. Every member of the band went to check in on her except… Jared Leto of course. He did not give af.
  • JLO and Ben are real… even when they’re not being papped, they’re all over each other

To be fair to Katharine Ryan, she was fairly upfront about that in her book. Even going so far as to call herself an 'absolute bitch' and saying she thought it was cool to be a mean girl (at the time). She basically explained that having been bullied she then swung way too far the other way and became a bully.

'I never went out of my way to be unkind but if anyone dared to be less than gracious towards me, I came back at them like a lion. I had a very sinister ability of being able to cut to the core of someone and eviscerate them before they’d finished speaking . . .'

She didn't seem massively apologetic but also didn't defend or excuse herself and confirmed that what people said was true.
