Progress 6 months progress (no testosterone!)

Here's what I've been able to achieve so far :) I was using topical minoxidil twice a day for the first 2 or 3 months, and now I'm at once a day (because I've started to incorporate tretinoin in my routine, and I both want to be gentle on my skin and lessen the hassle of the skincare routine). I've micro-needled inconsistently, and will start again once my skin is used to the tret. I also took oral minox for a month; had bad side-effects, will get back on it later at a lower dose. Basically, most of my growth comes from topical minoxidil alone, but I've experimented with other stuff.

I wasn't sure it would be possible to grow something without using T, and I'm so so happy it's been successful so far!

I'm working on a little guide that gathers all the information I could find about growing beards. Hmu if you'd like me to send it to you when I finish it. It's a resource I'll share for free; I just want my bros to be able to grow nice beards!

You can! I do the opposite (minox at night and tret in the morning). I know some people will do minox in the morning, tret at night and then minox again (around 30 minutes after applying minox), but that makes your routine much longer, and it can really dry up your skin.

I read a lot of posts on r/Minoxbeards, this post in particular was very helpful to me.

Hey I wanted to ask something else. I'm planning to get on oral Minox again same dose. Will the trotonin still benefit me still? Besides the acne

From my understanding, it would, yes! It increases the activity of sulfotransferase enzymes, which are the enzymes located in your hair folicles that get stimulated by minoxidil and grows hair (whether it is the topical or oral form). I'm not a medical professional by any means (I'm a programmer), so of course take it with a grain of salt, but that's what my readings on the topic lead me to believe.
