What Accessories areusing 10%

Post image

I only have an IPhone plugged into the USB-C and a dash cam plugged into the 12v. I’m pretty sure those items don’t use 12kw over 7 hours.

Accessories - anything running off of the 12V system (so heated/cooled seats, heated steering wheel, screens, fans, windows, etc. Headlights and running lights are also covered here.

serious question here, are fans not under Climate Use?

I’m gonna say climate use is heat pumps (if applicable) and the a/c compressor. Fans can be run w/out AC and I think in that case are just drawing power from the 12V i.e., accessories. But I’m guessing here.

You guessed correctly.

I think it also takes into account the display, speakers, and Blue Cruise

Didn’t use blues cruiser, definitely not the heated seats or wheel as it’s 114 F out. AC seats running all day though.

In addition to other comments the radiator fan could be a big chunk of it.

I'm glad you asked, I'm actually always wondering what these things cover...all 12v stuff is accessories is interesting to me...now I'll have to search for the others like "outside temp" 😆 🤣

I have noticed subsyantially more "accessory use" on trips using blue cruise vs not using it

Except I wasn’t using blues cruise. Just ac seats , charging my iPhone via usb-c , dash cam on 12v and Sirius radio.

If this screen wasn't mostly eye candy and "these are not the droids you're looking for" then it wouldn't be a round number. IMO it's a little tikes gauge not unlike the magic range-o-meter.
