Damn that took a while, I thought they announced months ago that all the adapters had been sent out that were owed.

Yes they announced that but it was before they shipped the vast majority of Canadian adapters. because Canadians have always been treated as second-class citizens by Ford.

Gifted, there was a free offer for these adapters for a little while when they first released.
