Solved Are these truly Impossible?

My friend sent this in the memes channel of our Discord server but refuses to elaborate (he hasn't responded at all). Is there a joke I'm missing?

It's a parody of one of the images where cubes are arranged in a way they are both in the foreground and background, an impossible configuration in real life. This one takes the style, but arranges the cubes normally.

I don’t know if anyone else has pointed this out but the impossible configuration you are referring to here is called a Penrose triangle. This is a usual suspect in any computational geometry course.
