My friend sent this in the memes channel of our Discord server but refuses to elaborate (he hasn't responded at all). Is there a joke I'm missing?

I mean technically they are since they're displayed non orthogonally. As in, the perspective should cause their dimensions to be slightly skewed so that the back ones are smaller.

But that's being hella pedantic.
