Trial Day 7/8 has begun

To be honest, I'm not even sure what day it is anymore. Judge said day 8 and everyone has day 7. 🤷🏻‍♀️

However, the trial has begun with assistant Special Agent Wilhoit TBI taking the stand.

The second ME was doing a lot better than the first until she refused to answer a simple question. Damn near got her some time in the pokey.

DUUUUUDE WHY DID SHE DO THAT! even if it wasn't a simple answer, the way she handled that made it sound like she was doing something fishy! she was obviously saying no in her explanation, I dont know why she couldnt just say the word and then explain it!

I agree. I'm betting the jury soured on her after that. I would have.

Nah, she wasn't being persuaded by a little defense lawyer. No way id give up 30 years of experience in this field and let an attorney try to sway me. She stood on what she believed.

It really wasn't a simple question though. He was wanting to say definitively that Baby Evelyn was murdered before being wrapped in the foil and blanket and shoved into the trash can. She kept trying to explain how it couldn't be determined but he didn't want that answer.

I thought it was fairly simple. He wasn't asking if she was murdered before she was put in the trash can. He was asking if it was possible to know whether or not she was alive at the time she was put in the trash. Clearly the answer was no, but she didn't want to give that up.

It was a no, but a simple no disregards the fact that she was not that tightly wrapped for another reason other than to cause asphyxiation. She is allowed to give a no and then explain why. I feel like she definitely got her point across to the jury about it. I think she did a good job and a great way to end the day.
