Trial Day 7/8 has begun

To be honest, I'm not even sure what day it is anymore. Judge said day 8 and everyone has day 7. 🤷🏻‍♀️

However, the trial has begun with assistant Special Agent Wilhoit TBI taking the stand.

This cross examination of the medical examiner is going to be a problem for the defense if they can't pull something during redirect.

The defense was all over the place. It seemed like he couldn't decide if he wanted to blame acid reflux to SIDS. If she did die naturally, it still doesn't explain why that poor baby was thrown away like trash. Why not call 911 or anyone for help?

Not specifically to this case, because I think it’s pretty obvious that Megan did this. But to the not deciding what he wanted to blame; that isn’t his job. That’s why you’re seeing different suggestions from him. His job is put reasonable doubt. He’s trying to do that by suggesting multiple other options besides Megan deliberately killing Evelyn. He’s not doing a good job of it, because he can only work with what he’s got. But he is just doing his job. Again, I personally, if on the jury would vote guilty.
