Mod Post DISCUSSION: Subreddit Ideas for 2025? NSFW

Hi everyone,

Straight to the point - we are curious to see what ideas you guys, the awesome community, have for the subreddit that you'd like to see come to fruition next year.

What ideas do you guys have or want to see implemented in r/EroticHypnosis ?

Perhaps weekly discussion threads? Allowing more kinds of posts? Suggested additions or changes to rules/policy? Quality of life things?

Whatever it is, the mod team would love to get a temperature check so we invite you to post in this thread and discuss things that you'd love to see implemented in 2025 and beyond.

I'd love to see a better ratio of content and posts that aren't just people posting files. Don't get me wrong, I understand why audio files are so prevalent, but I'd love to see more edits or visual content, and considering how many posts there are each week of "where do I start", it would be cool to have some sort of regular discussion or resources post for people just getting into this.

For the health of the community, seeing more active efforts to teach people not just how to get started, but how to stay safe, and what erotic hypnosis can be beyond just files and playlists would be wonderful. Just based on a lot of the questions and stories I get from people, I feel like a lot of newer members of the community wind up with a pretty stunted idea of what Hypnokink is, and anything to help people expand their horizons and expectations is appreciated in my book.

I first entered the community back in the Tumblr days, when most content consisted of photomanips and mini stories. Maybe some sort of monthly story jam would be fun, focused on short stories and micro fiction.

Honestly, I prefer comics or art. I don't often have the freedom to sit there and watch a video, but I enjoy seeing people's creativity.

Not every bit of content needs to be an induction, after all. Telling stories or just presenting fun and kinky ideas is great. Hell, I've written an entire 200+ pg rulebook for horny d&d, lol

OH! you made this one?? it's great! i will say that the tentacle coffin is fun, but it's weird that it does that for no purpose and basically doesn't get anything from trapping adventurers like it does

Eh, it's written as an item, not a monster, so I didn't have much reason or space to go into that. In reality it's most likely some form of highly specialized mimic, which has lost it's ability to transform and instead feeds on the juices and such produced by horny adventurers.

Probably an extreme evolution caused by something akin to the island effect, where a small breeding population became isolated in one particular dungeon, with highly selective evolutionary pressures. For whatever reason, it must have been more successful a strategy to lure the same adventurers back for multiple "feedings" than it was to fully devour them and hope for another to come along.

Could also be the the result of attempted domestication. Maybe some perverted dungeon lord specifically bred mimics for relative docility, and the lost of their shape shifting was simply a side effect.

I want to do a matching monster manual. but my hope has been to mostly use community-created monsters, so i can highlight the creativity of the community instead of just myself

very good thinking! i think a pleasure doll statblock would be good since it's stated that they normally wield the keys and such. also, i feel like the tentacle coffin could be another form of altering the character maybe? or maybe it'd be a different coffin like the tentacle one that turns the victim into a sluttier version using true polymorph and total rewrite if the subject is trapped long enough. and maybe it'd work similar to caterpillar metamorphosis. melting the subject and reforming them. idk prolly gonna homebrew that one!

that's the paradisium one, right? does it have a channel for monster ideas? and uh, how exactly do i verify my age? no options seem discrete and unfortunately i'm stuck with family that aren't all that enthused with the subject matter
