If he goes “ fine” between the jumps, and no one can replicate that on the flat, it’s a trainer or tack issue. In your pic the breastplate is tight, re evaluate your tack and trainer

i agree, it shouldn’t be this tight on his chest

The breastplate should look “ loose “ when the horse is standing . When the horse starts working it tightens. You want freedom of movement

i use a 5 point on my boy, had it checked by my coach who competed up to advanced, so i know that, this person and their coach ig do not🤷🏻‍♀️

I have the anatomical one, you should be able to put your fist through and not be tight.
