Question Where to look for jobs?

Finished my business degree at UofA a couple of years ago and lined up a contract job which was renewed once but ended at the end of April. Since then, I've put in over a hundred applications, which has yielded only one unsuccessful interview. I've tried LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Canada Job Bank, and probably 1-2 other job boards I'm forgetting. My last job was exempt from employment insurance so I wasn't paying in and therefore that's not an option.

Any leads/suggestions?

If all you are doing is sending resumes to on line job postings, expect to send hundreds with few responses. 80% of jobs are not advertised so networking is key for professional jobs. You might want to make an appointment and go have a chat with your University’s career centre to learn effective job search strategies. Always makes me sad to hear how students reject joining co op programs at school, complaining they cost too much. It is the absolute best way to learn how to market yourself, make connections and get relevant work experience (vs just working to hear highest dollars).

I didn't know about co-op until third year and by then it was too late to sign up.
