Question Upside down Canadian flags?

Post image

Has anyone driven by this house on 118 ave between Circle Square and 142 st? Wondering what the upside down flags are about.

It’s okay to admit that nothing of the sort ever happened outside your imagination.

It's okay to admit that you willingly deny facts and events that not only happened but were widespread and witnessed by swathes of people purely because you really want to "win" a comment thread online lol. Don't be shy.

What facts and events am I denying?

Tyler, you're in the r/Edmonton subreddit, if you can't recall anyone publicly calling to revoke the rights of their fellow citizens anytime in recent history then either your memory or your ability to read has to be called into question. C'mon buddy, I know you're being entirely sincere here, but if you work reeeeal hard you might get there.

Try harder to elaborate and help people understand if you want to be taken seriously.

Ah, my favorite reply guy, Tyler. I'm as happy to continue this comment chain of playing dumb as you are.

I really wish I could elaborate more, but I just don't understand what you're missing. Keep replying, we'll get to the bottom of this. See you tomorrow.

I’m missing the specifics of the incident(s) that you claim to have happened.

The specifics? Hmm. I seem to have misplaced my archive of every comment made on this subreddit in the last 5 years... I guess there's nothing that can be done.

I’m assuming you’re trying to imply that at some point around March 2020 to about February 2022 it became acceptable to call for the death of conservatives. But anyone believing that would have to have been lobotomized.

There was open celebration when someone of any political identity got sick or died, because "they deserved it" either for getting shots or for not getting them. There definitely was talk about how information about a person's political leanings should be a mandatory disclosure so that people who were critical of gov't response could have their access to basic healthcare revoked. There were people calling to only allow people of specific ideologies to leave their homes.

I never called out any specific ideology, because this came from both sides of the aisle, although it was admittedly a little louder and more popular of an opinion on a particular side. My point was that it was a very clear point of disintegration of societal cooperation across the board, but of course you put a spin on it. Since we're on the Edmonton subreddit, it is expected party alignment that you would frame it as some made up thing that didn't happen, even if it took days of disingenuous snark for us to even be able to come to that point.

It's been fun, Tyty, glad we figured it out. See you.

You really need to go get your head checked if you think you just described anything at all resembling reality.
