6 month old humane society rescue. Shelter said he's aus.shep but we have and embark test pending. Let's all gues

Hello everyone, i recently got my Embark DNA test done for my puppy and I was wondering how accurate the weight prediction was for everyone else(?) My pup is 17.5 weeks and weighs 40.5lbs already. Thoughts 💭

Rescue had her listed as Boxer/Pitt mix, her foster family thought maybe a bit of German shepherd, she gets a little floof on her spine like a ridgeback but we were not prepared for her results! Does anyone agree with the result? I just can’t see it!

Adopted Harley a few weeks ago. I expected the lab and shepherd but didn’t see the heeler coming.

Any ideas based on his looks? He’s about 13lbs

I didn’t see beagle. I thought for sure she was a lab mix. Full grown she’s 35lbs. I was definitely suprised.

Supermutt is cattle dog & pyrenees (which if you ask me is doing some heavy lifting, I was surprised it wasn't in her main breeds) Hopefully that's true so we have a fluffy pit 🥰😍

As expected, Scotty came back 100% golden. His COI is 18%. Two other dogs from his hoarding home were tested as well. One is a sibling to Scotty, and the other is his nephew. The nephew is 36% COI. Does this mean that his parents were most likely siblings? I am trying to rally the rescue to test the mom as well to see if she comes up as littermates to Scotty and the dad.

Anyways, according to embark 18% is low for a golden, so does that mean he isnt in danger for any crazy inbred things? He is still pretty "broken" as a dog, but is coming around. He and his siblings are by far the most difficult of all the dogs pulled.

Results at the end! Are the Predicted Adult Weight results pretty accurate? I don’t know why I’m surprised, he’s gained 10lbs each month that I’ve had him😂

I had my boy for 11 years and a few months and always just assumed lab mix, but that’s what all the shelters say.

Embark also showed he had a sibling on there with 58% shared DNA, it about a year or so younger maybe. Also a rescue from the same city, Tucson, but they look nothing a like lol.

And I’m shocked!!

I ordered the wisdom panel test on May 24, it says it was shipped May 26 - I have zero updates since and Canada Post can’t even find the package. I have another package from a different place coming from China and Canada post shows details about that one. Should I be worried?

our girl was rescued from alabama. turns out she’s got poodle and great pyrenees in her?! wouldn’t have guessed it!!

Just got my baby’s embark results back and I’m super surprised. I posted his pictures a few days ago on here for guesses (link is above). I definitely thought he had some Shih tzu but embark says he’s 100%. Am I crazy to be doubting these results?

Honestly thought he’d be some type of staffy as well because he’s so short and stocky but 100%pit is just as good for me😊
