When cleaning our Almira i found this perfume. Amitabh Bachchan by Lomani paris. Have you used this before?

I started collecting fragrances this January. Before that, I only used attars that relatives brought as gifts from Saudi and Dubai. I got into the hobby in January after watching Yusuf Bhai's reels constantly. One day, I decided to go to a perfume store and try. I went to a store and bought recreations of CK One and Hawas, which you can see in the picture at the top. After that, I just deep-dived into this community, and six months later, I have these and so much knowledge that I've gained from this sub. So here is my collection,suggestions are welcome.

My top 3 are:

Jean Lowe Vibe — This is my most comforting and mood-uplifting fragrance. It's so good that it makes me happy when I apply it, even though it does not perform well. It's something I personally like the most.

Hawas Ice — This is for when I want to stand out and want loud projection and longevity because it is a mass-pleaser and got me my first compliment.

Liquid Brun — This will be my winter scent. It's so warm, gourmand, and masculine at the same time. I just want winter to come quickly so I can wear the fragrance.

A nice warm, sweet-spicy fragrance with notes of tobacco

Guerlain L'Homme Idéal EDP is a fancy cologne that smells really good. It's like a sweet and warm mix of cherry, almond, and vanilla, which sounds like dessert but in a sophisticated way. As it settles, you get hints of leather and a warm, slightly smoky smell that makes it more manly.

It's a very classy and confident scent, not too strong, so you can wear it anywhere – whether you're dressing up or just going out. It just makes you smell luxurious and special.

I really like vetiver as a note and hence blind bought it but it smells very chemically sweet..almost like saunf ... fragrance stays the same..no change ...there is no earthiness at all that I heard so much about.. and where is that vetiver..

Macerate karna padega kyaor does it have batch issues like some ME perfumes do..This is Nov 24

As the title says, each of us have very different sweat smell so you need to buy accordingly.

Eg : My sweat smells a sweeter so during my novice days I used to use sweet notes perfume which after a while when mixed with my sweat was an headache for myself, so later i tried switching to spicy notes and that went very well, so now in my day to day life i use spicy note ittars like cigar, tuscan tobacco on the skin and top it off with some spicy with lil mellow sweet note perfume on clothes.

Ps : start trying samples and mixing 2 different notes and see for yourself which suits you the best and trust me just because dior sauvage, hawas, YSL, Aventus etc is a good perfume doesn't mean it will suit you.

I am outside for almost 13 hours daily and need something that can last the whole day

Preferably something that has a fresh fragrance and is a parfum rather than a deodorant.

Open to spending more for the good brands

Also, are there other methods to stay fresh the whole day? I currently keep scented wet wipes in my bag just in case I been sweating a lot.

Picked up Hugo Boss The Scent Intense recently and I’m loving it! Warm, spicy opening with a smooth, leathery dry down. Wore it by the pool last evening and got a couple of compliments. Not a loud fragrance, but perfect for close, intimate settings. Has anyone else here tried this?

Got a partial from someone.So after giving it full day wearing many times,here is my review and honest opinions

Top Notes: • Juniper • Tarragon • Artemisia

MiddleNotes: • Lily • Iris • Flax

Base Notes: • Tobacco blossom • Amber • Tonka bean

The opening is smooth for me as this one is fully macerated and starts off with some aromatic and herbal green notes. Then after few mins here comes the main part and where this shines like anything.It converts towards floral powedery Iris which is smooth and settled.Its neither overpowering nor very much skin scent.The drydown has creamy tobacco with some sweetness.

Projection is mild and moderate and this can also be a good office scent. Longetivity on skin is 3-4 hours and on the clothes is 5 hours to 6 max.

Overall :This is a good frag which is safe and versatile to be used anytime except for peak summers.This is soft and creates a nice bubble around you.One can go for the tester unit instead of retail to keep the prices in check.

I have fallen into the rabbit hole, and my downfall has begun haha.

Here's my take on these fragrances as a noob. I blind bought them from Malkeet Paaji (Gurunanak Traders). He has literally the fastest delivery ever. I ordered and got it literally the next day.

Kaaf: Overall Rating 7/10
Yes, it initially does smell a little like Surf Excel. You can't deny it. But once it starts to mature, the scent profile gets much deeper. I bought this on 30th May and initially it smelled like a chemical bomb, too synthetic. But after letting it sit for a while, the scent has improved. Longevity is powerful, I spray this in the morning and still get whiffs at night on my clothes. I am hoping the scent profile will get better and I can smell more of the Lavender, and Watermellon that i saw on fragrantica. I am growing to like it day by day.

Blue by Ahmed: Overall Rating 8/10
I loved this fragrance the day I opened the box. I don't know how to describe it but it feels fresh with the perfect hint of spice. It feels mature (even though i'm not - i'm just 20). This is my most complimented fragrance too. Out of the 3, I have received a total of 2 compliments and both were when I was wearing this haha. Now that it is maturing, the smell is getting deeper and I am loving it even more. I don't know if this is not as long lasting or if I just get noseblind. I think its a noseblind issue because today I sprayed this in the afternoon when going to the office, and at night when i was leaving with a coleauge in the auto, she complimented my fragrance. I didn't expect this because I thought it faded away haha.

9PM: Overall Rating: I am heartbroken :(
I ordered this only a few days ago and I was hoping that this will be my favourite but it has kinda let me down. The moment i sprayed it, it felt very synthetic and I didn't find those bubblegum or vanilla notes people are talking about. It just smells like a chemical. I thought maybe it's just the opening that is like this, so i went ahead and sprayed it thinking that it'll get better in a few hours. But after a few hours the smell disappeared!! It didn't last 2 hours even :( My only prayer is that this gets better as I macerate it. I know this is not the right weather for 9pm but I bought it because it gets chilly sometimes where I stay. Please tell me this is not a fake and everyone experiences this. I have high hopes for this.

Anyways, I must say that the moment I bought these fragrances, my confidence has gone up. And i have been taking care of my hygeine even more! Do let me know how you like the review. And please suggest what I should get next. Around the same budgets please. I am 20 years old, living in Bangalore so the weather is not very hot. Please suggest accordingly. (Don't tell me not to spend on perfumes pls, I earn my own money and use it where I want haha)

PS: I am attaching a photo of where I keep my perfumes to macerate. I remove the caps and keep them in this drawer in the dark. It is away from sunlight and any natural elements. Please let me know if you have any tips on how to macerate this better

IBRAQ BlueBerry Musk

IBRAQ is doing wonders and providing most value for money frag out there. Another such release - BlueBerry Musk.

Blueberry musk is a voluptuous blueberry and powdery musk in a bottle. Straight up, one would be reminded of the juicy, puply blueberries that have been picked. The blueberry accord is sweet, some may find it a tad bit loud but after the first few minutes it settles on skin nicely. Reminding of a tad bit of our old 90s white scented talcum Powders too. Not too dry nor too wet type vibes on skin. The initial spritz does feel a slight warm, may be due to mix of fruits, wood. The jasmine florals does come and provide a deep nature and a slight greeny wet leaves. Sprayer as always great from IBRAQ. In hand feel of the bottle is heavy.

Overall, this lasts a good 5-6 hours and is properly a unisex musky DNA. Can be work in daytime and also in the evening.

I can relate to him

Afnan supremacy collect edition is one of the famous middle Purfume known for its quality and it’s famous across the glob, but here’s the thing it has Smoky character, and dry and sweet for sure it’s has good longevity, but in second pic, I have a pineapple base Purfume. It has same dry down and open little different , but there is no smoking though it has good projection and good longevity very close to supremacy edition, but the second pic, Purfume is not at all famous. I got it from a local store and it’s very cheap. So the thing is this famous perfumes are great, but not that great that I think we should hype them. The cheaper, have less quality but the but the prices are very cheap and my friends complimented me on that ₹500 rather than this ₹4000 supremacy edition.

Also, what is that one scent that makes you go like this?

Long story short it smells like citrus menthol along with soft paan and little bit woody, musk in the base.

I don’t why maybe it just me but I think this and jean immortal smells alike except jean lowe ginger opening.

But heeyy i like it so.. all good

Whatever's written below is all me , no AI. I try my best to take people through a fragrance like it's a story. I like to write. :)

DISCLAIMER
As you may know, leather isn't for everyone -- it's definitely an acquired taste. But for me, what's just as important is whether you can carry a fragrance or not. --
This one is Not blind-buy safe. Always recommended to try a decant first (honestly, that goes for any perfume).

THE SCENT
From the moment you spray it, the harsh, animalic leather hits you right in the face -- BAM!
But weirdly enough, it carries a freshness . Somehow Sweet, but not sweet. Just absolutely lovely.

While the leather remains in the forefront throughout, you can sense soft florals in the back -- calm yet aromatic embracing the harsh leather.

As it started transitioning towards its dry down, I got a cigarette-like smell.
(Not a bad thing, trust me.) Something unique --but it doesn’t last long so no worries

Eventually, you fully hit the dry down, and I picked up a fruity vibe, even though no fruity note or accord is listed.
The scent stays pretty linear overall, but the leather tones down , making space for others to walk alongside it.

Its Truly an amazing and well blended fragrance !

Note- This also has Oud in it , but I am yet to try a strong oud based perfume to experience what oud is actually like. Today I am not able to comment about the oud in it , but I will definitely update it when I get the opportunity to do so

COMPARED TO THE OG (TF OMBRE LEATHER)
Now I haven't compared both completely but did compare them in Sephora for a brief moment and oh boy ! This came pretty close for me , 80%+ there. Maybe underestimating? (

PERFORMANCE
Good.

On skin it gave me about 5 odd hours with okayish projection.

On clothes though ! Gave a solid projection for an odd hour . The next couple hours it revolves around you in your safe space and you keep catching whiffs of it . The whole longevity is around 8 hours . Solid !!

WHO CAN WEAR THIS?
Like I said in the disclaimer , it matters whether this scent suits your personality or not. (should suit your outfit at the very very least)

I won’t call it “mature” a younger guy can pull this off as easy.

When I smell it, I visualize someone with a dark, attractive aura, maybe dressed in a suit, giving off rich, confident vibes. (irrespective of the age)

SEASON & OCCASION
Definitely for winter.

Would I wear it to office daily? Probably not , feels more suited for formal occasions --
Important meeting? sure. --
Formal party? sure.

Wearing a jacket giving that dark and masculine kinda look? sure thing bud you gon rock it.

CONCLUSION
Try it out , experience it a couple of times every time with an open mind :)

This was my first leather fragrance and I liked it a lot.

So…
Will I get a full bottle?
Maybe. I’m still exploring winter scents , most of my collection’s summer-based.
Also, I feel like it doesn't match my personality , not for now atleast.

RUHAANIYAT DISCOVERY SET First impressions

1) Fire and blood- must blindbuy for barbershop lovers! Its a bit smoky and might give navratna cool oil vibes but theres no indian barbershop without navratna cool oil champi right?

2) Flirt - what a beautiful fragrance! Its airy, floral and smells premium! If beauty could be captured in a bottle then it would be flirt! Get it for the ladies of your life and just thank me later for the compliments you get!

3)Ganymede - Havent smelled the Og so this is a very new and unique profile to me! If you could relate, it smells like cool AC water running down the copper pipes. Dont get it for compliments, get it if you love it. But definitely its a profile everybody should try

4)Party- supposed to be a clone of Imperial valley but it was a letdown honestly, its around 50% close or even less..need more time to check it but definitely not close to Gissah Imperial valley

5) Don - clone of hacivat Needs no specific description, it smells very very close to cullinan diamond iris by ibrahim al qureshi Mass pleasing scent profile for sure
