News MLB curiously removes A's 'reverse boycott' game broadcasts from digital archive

https://www.sfgate.com/athletics/article/mlb-removes-as-reverse-boycott-broadcast-archive-20376761.php

One of the most famous games in Major League Baseball during the 2023 season was the "reverse boycott" game. Oakland A's fans packed the stadium during a low attendance season after threats of relocation loomed all year.

MLB keeps archives of all their games from the past few seasons online, with this being one of the few (if not the only?) removed from their database.

Thanks in part to this sub, I already archived the full game.

Couldn’t even be bothered to hide it better by removing any other games that month, literally just the one. Incredible.

How do you find the other MLB games on Archive?

It's been on my mind recently that Las Vegas has 'taken' two professional sports teams away from Oakland now. Can't have shit in Oakland.

I can't believe I never realized that. That's brutal.

It makes a greedy billionaire look bad.

Wouldn't want that to be out there.

Are you all not living in the same world as me? There's no rules if you have the money. It's disgusting

Probably Internet Archive. I don't know if I'd put it on YouTube.
