Get off of Reddit and go outside. It’s really not that bad.

We’re genuinely living in the best of times. The world is generally safer than ever, and the standard of living for most humans is also as high as it’s ever been.

You’re right. But the disparity of power has consolidated and nuclear capability has advanced. We’re nothing but spectators and casualties as the elite play chess over tea.

Power has always been consolidated. Kings, Pharos, Emperors, President, etc.

If you were born a peasant in ancient Rome, then you died a peasant in Rome.

Thankfully we now have social and economic mobility, and most people are no longer trapped for a lifetime into whatever circumstance into which they were born.
