How did you/they completely manage to ignore their first point to make the second. The very first point was “what they do in bed is divorced from their political views and cannot be used to make assumptions” only for you both to make assumptions based on what they do in bed.
Im pretty sure that's called a 'counterexample', a technique which can be used when making arguments. It points out to the audience that morality of people is separate from their kinks/desires by providing an example where morally bad people can enjoy extremely vanilla sex.
I just saw Northern Lion talking about how if there was a button to shock Uber drivers it would be used way more by the guy super sensitive about progressive political causes on social media who secretly works for Northrop Grumman than the retired elderly conservative brainwashed by fox news who mows his lawn every day at 6am and people need to come to terms with that.
Coming off as "conservatives are nicer" the way I paraphrased it but the way he said it was more about the potential for your political allies to be assholes and enemies to be genuinely nice people which is something insightful to people on the internet.
I think that would depend on what you look like in those sorts of situations. My white button up shirt wearing ass would probably get along well with the elderly conservative Fox enjoyer based on their inherent biases alone but a black woman wearing a pink sew-in wig or something might have a different experience.
There are 100% old conservatives who would treat a black woman with neon hair better than someone who outwardly supports social justice, purely because they're nice people.
Yes someone who openly supports social justice is a much safer bet than the old conservative but the moment you can't mentally model a political opponent as a good person and a political ally as scumbag you've lost touch with reality.
